IFAC came across Quilter’s Women and Investing hub. It is always something that interests me; in fact I once featured in the Daily Mail in an article about Female Advisers advising Female clients around a different understanding and empathy!
Quilter Cheviot have launched a “Women and Investing†hub which is a platform designed to help, inform and educate on some of the trends and barriers that women have when investing and shares their top tips to help advisers engage with their female clients.
Now, it’s not gone unnoticed that the world of financial services, whether working in it or investing in it, has historically been a largely male dominated environment. Over the past 20 years, it has improved and with the fact that women are due to control 65% of the UK’s wealth by 2025 due to higher life expectancy levels, it’s time to take that additional step in ensuring female clients are engaged and confident to make financial decisions; not simply the “other halfâ€.
Quilter’s hub will allow you to access a schedule of training opportunities throughout May and June from an Introductory session through Financial Education, ESG Investment, Pension Provision and Investing in Family Wealth; just short of 6 hours of relevant CPD. In addition there is plenty of information within the hub from Q&As with Female Professionals through to busting the myths that stop people investing. A wealth of information for you and your clients.
