1.      Director and Supervisor training, including sign off for FCA purposes

The key functions of a supervisor in the  commercial and regulatory financial services environment.

This Live Online programme is a 5 session course that consists of 4 live tutorials each lasting 90 minutes

 Communication Observation Skills Assessment and Feedback Training and Coaching Record Keeping

 On completion all who pass the exam will be certified as accredited by IFAC to act as Supervisors under FCA rules.

 90 minute sessions  on each morning of  April 16, 23rd, 30th consecutively.... starts at 9am until 10.30am

Attendees must attend all three to qualify for certication.

2.Anti Money Laundering revisited for SMF 17’s.

A refresher training including qualification for AML role as an SMF17.  Understanding of the rules and compliance processes surrounding anti money laundering issues  in the  commercial and regulatory financial services environment. 

This Live Online programme is a 1 session course that consists of 1 live tutorial lasting 120 minutes 

 Ongoing monitoring of business relationships

Reporting of suspicion


Assessment of money laundering risks and the application of due diligence measures in higher risk situations (eg PEPs [politically exposed persons])

3.Data Protection Officer training

An interactive and engaging online course on GDPR for staff working in financial services.

Understanding of the rules and compliance processes surrounding GDPR issues  in the  commercial and regulatory financial services environment. 

This Live Online programme is a 1 session course that consists of 1 live tutorial lasting 60 minutes .

 This course covers

  • ·         the key terms - personal data as well as data subject, data controller etc.
  • ·         personal and/or sensitive data your employees handle
  • ·         the Regulation’s purpose
  • ·         the principles of the GDPR
  • ·         the principles, guidelines and best practice

 4.Vulnerable Clients

An interactive and engaging online course on vulnerable clients for staff working in financial services. 

Understanding of the rules and compliance processes surrounding the treatment of vulnerable clients in the commercial and regulatory financial services environment. 

This Live Online programme is a 1 session course that consists of 1 live tutorial lasting 60 minutes .

 This course will show IFAs how every customer is vulnerable, and how to navigate this while giving advice.   Contains a multiple-choice knowledge test based on the course content.

6.Compliance officer training course for SMF16

An interactive and engaging online course on Compliance, delivered by compliance specialist.

This Live Online programme is a 4 session course that consists of 4 live - interactive tutorials lasting 90 minutes, and covers the following

  • ·         Risk and compliance committees
  • ·         Internal Audit

Session 7 FCA Compliant Complaints Handling

 The key requirements for all staff to understand FCA complaints.

Understand the FCA’s expectations, good practice / avoid poor practices

  • Connected regulation – SYSC, TCF - social media and complaints
  • Understand the role of the FOS and what we need to inform clients about.
  • Win back that customer’s support
  •  Communication Observation Skills Assessment and Feedback Training and Coaching Record Keeping

 On completion all who pass the exam will be certified as accredited by IFAC in complaints handling under FCA rules.

Session 8 TCF and suitability of advice

Understand the FCA’s focus on Treating Customers Fairly strategy

  • Ensure you are evidencing suitability correctly
  • Ensure you are evidencing appropriateness correctly
  • Understand what level of KYC -  FF is required before making a recommendation
  • Confirm your approach to risk profiling meets the regulator’s expectations
  • Learn what regulated firms need to do to demonstrate suitability and appropriateness in practice
  • The TCF feedback loop to "show me".

 On completion all who pass the exam will be certified as accredited by IFAC as receiving training in Suitability and TCF, as required by FCA.
