Mortgage sourcing on BAT

On Monday 21st May 2018, our market leading provider 27Tec released updates.

Equity Release will be available allowing this growing area of lending to be exposed alongside standard residential and secured loan products.  Equity Release is currently being added at no additional charge for existing users.  

Initial launch will go live with all Legal & General Home Finance retirement lending products. The first of many lenders to be added into the system throughout the remainder of this year. 

Existing users will be able to search Equity Release as a 'Mortgage Type'.  You may never be qualified to advise on Equity Release products, you may never want to include them in your advice offering or refer business. But, if you have them available at the touch of a button, with no additional effort required. You never know, this area of lending may be suitable for you and your customers.

Gabriel Auto-Upload - 2nd June 18

BAT is working at present on ONLINE auto-upload from BAT to FCA Gabriel Reports.

This is in need of constant fixing due to FCA changes to BAT.

But Alastair.Frame@IFAC.EU reports that we are increasingly taking over from local accountants who hitherto have been uploading data for IFAs into Gabriel.  As Alastair puts it - it is amazing just how inaccurate and wrong many of these so called accountants were.  "But why should they understand Gabriel? - it isn't their business"

When completed this will save IFAC 30 minutes per RMAR entry.
